This was actually a highlight of our trip. We thought it was just a transfer but actually, it could be classed as a tour. Our driver was so informative all the way from Alice Springs to Uluru, we learnt so much about what was going on in the desert that we were passing. The stops were really interesting too, a camel farm for an optional quick camel ride. A stop at Erldunda roadhouse which is known as the centre of the centre. And finally a lookout stop and then a prompt arrival at Ayers Rock Resort just after 1 pm.
