We took the Grampians Day Tour from Melbourne. It was a fantastic experience: gorgeous mountain vistas, waterfalls, Australian animals (kangaroos, emus, eagles) in the wild, and historical sites (Ballarat). But the day was made by our wonderful guide, Yazmin. She was professional and managed our large group with ease. Yazmin was also energetic, personable and made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. The hike can be strenuous for some but she made adjustments so that everyone, regardless of their fitness capabilities, had a blast. I would highly recommend this tour!
I had a hard time because the schedule was too long

I had a hard time because the schedule was too long. I only remember riding the car all day. There was also a pity not to reach the observatory on the mountain top. Since it was far from Melbourne, it could not be helped, and it was a tour that left a little bit of regret. But Guide Joel worked really hard and did his best for us.

The Go West tour was great

The Go West tour was great. The booking was smooth, the website easy to navigate, and the tour itself was very good. Matched the website description, pickup/dropoff at your hotel of choice, hassle-free. Our tour guide Chris was humorous & knowledgeable.

Our guide was Leah who was an excellent guide - her driving was smooth and great

Our guide was Leah who was an excellent guide - her driving was smooth and great, she also provided lots of interesting facts about the places we visited and took care to ensure that everyone in the group was OK throughout. The whole tour was nicely arranged and not too rushed and we got to see kangaroos and emus. The weather was a tad of a letdown as the heavy mist obstructed the view at the top. The tour had a slightly challenging bit when climbing the Grand Canyon as the rocks were slightly slippery due to the wet weather but Leah made sure everyone got through the walk safely and successfully. A highlight of our Melbourne trip.

We had this tour with Go West

We had this tour with Go West. It requires certain fitness level to accomplish the walk but definitely worth the effort as it was a new experience and the view is scenic. Enjoyed the trip. The minus point was the guide decided to send those staying outside CBD area back first despite passing through the CBD area first(about a quarter past nine). We end up reaching our hotel around 10.20 pm. As we were really exhausted after all the walking and climbing, we could not appreciate the free 'night city tour'.

This tour involves a bit of bushwalking in order to reach some of the Grampians' gorgeous viewpoints, so be sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes to keep yourself comfortable!
