Clement Chow 10 months ago Taronga Zoo - it is a zoo with a spectacular harbour view. Options for food and drinks are not much; they are pricey and I would expect to see a bit more quality options inside the zoo. The giraffe was moved somewhere else due to renovation... otherwise it is a wonderful experience as usual with all lovely animals.
Little disappointed about this Zoo
Zhen Zeng 8 months ago

Little disappointed about this Zoo. Not many animals to see and most of them are asleep as well. We have only seen one small tiger and he looks so lazy and moves so slow. Also, many places are shut down under renovation. Hopefully, we will see more animals next time once the renovation has been finished.

Lovely views, great day out with the kids having a look at all the animals. Their bird show was also very fun! Thanks Experience Oz!

Taronga Zoo is an abundant amount of fun to compress into one day out

Taronga Zoo is an abundant amount of fun to compress into one day out! All the animals were out on display besides the otters, the seal show was fantastic and you can see the excitement that radiates from all the visitors walking around. The entrance and exit via cable car is an added bonus to a great day.

Probably the best zoo so far we did in Australia

Probably the best zoo so far we did in Australia. The view is stunning, animals look healthy and their environents were in good shape. The seal show is not to miss! The ferry to get there is quick and easy. We had an overall great day.

We planned the day at Taronga Zoo
Nik Raymond 2 years ago

We planned the day at Taronga Zoo . We were very happy with the actual ferry trip and the lift up to the zoo but that was where it stopped . Unfortunately my young son was very disappointed as we were not advised about all the construction going on and the number of enclosures that were closed for the day because of the heat. I believe it would be advantageous for you to warn your customers that this would be the case as we would have appreciated some honesty from your end to encourage future visits. In the end we only spent an hour there and for $83.00 for a child and adult , this was an expensive & not very enjoyable experience and would hesitate to pass this onto our friends .

Taronga Park Zoo was a fantastic family day out
Kylie Davies 2 years ago

Taronga Park Zoo was a fantastic family day out. The well-kept grounds, courteous and welcoming staff and variety of animals in as close to their natural habitats as possible make the experience a very good day out. The Cable Car ride from the wharf to the zoo entry is a must, providing great overhead photo opportunities of the animals and an idea of where to go first. The only thing we missed seeing was the big cats, who are on vacation at another location while their home is renovated. That's the only reason Taronga Park Zoo isn't getting 5 stars.

We really enjoyed the whole experience; ferry ride from darling harbor

We really enjoyed the whole experience; ferry ride from darling harbor, to sky hi cable cars to taronga zoo...our five kids with their cousin enjoyed every bit of the trip!! They enjoyed the taronga combo meal though expensive but its worth it!!!...The only thing that was frustrating is when we did not have a hard copy of our pass and only have our iphone to show, that it requires us to wait for awhile (like 15 minutes) until they let us pass to taronga zoo once they prove everything. Also it will be more exciting if we have more of the safari wild, like tigers, lions and leopards. But totally, it was just enjoyable for the whole family!!!

Ample meter parking was available at 9:30am alternatively a parking station is on site

Ample meter parking was available at 9:30am alternatively a parking station is on site. Maps are supplied and volunteers informed us of events/attractions happening. We enjoyed the seal show along with the bird show. We took our own food and I noticed ice creams were expensive. Sky lift is included in the price of your ticket allowing you to get up/down easy as needed. Great day for all ages.
