My wife and I enjoyed the day trip to Canberra immensely, visiting the War Memorial, The Arts and Parliament House to see the highlights. A well conducted tour with clear concise vocal information from the guide. Our bus driver Russell was very knowledgeable and as we passed through the various places from Sydney to Canberra he gave us information with regard to the area's. Russell was also a safe driver with passenger consideration foremost. A very enjoyable day which we fully recommend to anyone considering this trip. A MUST!
The Canberra Trip was comprehensive

The Canberra Trip was comprehensive, the coach was comfortable and the driver was a capable and confident guide. The itinerary in Canberra was comprehensive given it was only a day trip. Very glad I chose to do it. The Sydney day trip was quite amazing, cant believe they could fit so much in one day. The driver was accommodating, knowledgeable and a great driver.

I took this Canberra day tour from Sydney on Friday

I took this Canberra day tour from Sydney on Friday. The coach was so wide and long. It also has a built-in restroom on board, so you don't have to worry if you drink too much coffee or water. The first stop was made approximately 90 minutes after departure. It stopped in a rest area where you can find a pie place, McDonald's, etc. I ordered a cinnamon donut and flat white on the place, and I really like it. The weather that day was extremely hot and biting. We went to the Mt Ainslie lookout, but not very surprising. It is because you can't really take a picture from there. It is too far from the parliament house and too foggy. But overall, this trip is very lengthy in distance and quite good. I definitely recommend you to bring something for your own entertainment on board. Ah, also, This trip is not very good for photography purposes because the time is very limited.

We had an informative afternoon in Canberra
Kelvin Blunt 3 years ago

We had an informative afternoon in Canberra. Seeing the Australian War Memorial and the Parliament were highlights of the trip. We learned a great deal about the city of Canberra, too, which was beneficial. It is a long day to drive to/from Canberra, so plan accordingly (bring water, money for coffee/meals, reading material, a jacket and hat).

I had a great time during my one-day visit from Sydney to Canberra

I had a great time during my one-day visit from Sydney to Canberra. Our driver, Greg, was really nice and very informative about the attractions we visited. The bus was comfortable and clean, even though the toilet was unfortunately not functioning properly. Our two local guides in the capital city were also amazing, very friendly and told us really interesting information about the sights. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Australian history, culture and a city like no other in this country!

A vacation to Australia is not complete without visiting Canberra
Tejas 3 years ago

A vacation to Australia is not complete without visiting Canberra. The city is ultra modern with fantastic architecture, lake and gardens. Full day commitment for this tour is worth the 13 hour investment as this trip visits all the major attractions such as the Parliament - the Australian Seat of Government, the War Memorial, the National Museum, the Prime Minister’s Lodge and other important buildings, memorials, museums and art galleries. Should try to dress in white or light colours for this visit as it is hot.

A very long day travelling from Sydney to Canberra by coach
Sue Regnier 4 years ago

A very long day travelling from Sydney to Canberra by coach. The best experience was had by all, an introduction to the war memorial, art gallery and parliament house had us wanting more. We will definitely visit Canberra again in the near future. The coach was warm and comfy, the driver Rusty was enthused, patient and knowledgeable in his commentary. Thanks for a great day .

Explore Australia's Capital in 1 day, be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for this big day.
